Restoration Church is a 500-seat house of worship in Whiteland, Indiana used for contemporary services that feature a full band and up to eight vocalists. After a lightning strike damaged key components of the existing audio system, the church needed a reliable replacement that could be installed quickly while still delivering consistent, intelligible sound throughout the room.

Solution

Presence Pro Audio was selected as the system integrator for the project due in part to their ability to design a solution that worked with existing low-frequency enclosures while delivering a meaningful upgrade in performance. Lead time was a critical factor, and Fulcrum Acoustic met the schedule requirements in under 3 weeks, including delivery of white loudspeaker enclosures to match the sanctuary aesthetics.

The system features arrays of CC215 and CC230 constant curvature loudspeakers with a single CCX1295 as center fill. The speakers’ passive cardioid technology helps reduce low frequency energy on stage, keeping the performance area clear and controlled for musicians and vocalists.

The system was designed and set up using Fulcrum One software and powered by two Driveflex 412 amplifiers. Together, they enabled array optimization and voicing tools that allowed the system to be commissioned quickly with minimal tuning.

The optimization was essentially a single click, and it did exactly what we needed it to do.”

Result

The combination of Fulcrum Acoustic loudspeakers, Driveflex amplification, and Fulcrum One software allowed Presence Pro Audio to complete the installation quickly and efficiently. With controlled low frequency energy on stage and even coverage across the seating area, Restoration Church now has a reliable audio system that meets both technical and aesthetic goals.
