

Venueflex Series Processors are proprietary multi-function digital signal processors with active acoustics, object-based mixing, active bass control, and immersive audio processing.
Venueflex Technologies are designed to address common audio challenges and provide greater artistic control. They are true to the principles of traditional acoustics but integrate into modern system and room design.
Active Acoustics
Using Fulcrum One software and the Venueflex processor, you can apply the acoustic characteristics of a modeled environment to a real-world setting, recreating how sound reflects, builds, and decays. The result is a flexible space that can adapt to different uses. Clear and controlled speech. More open and spacious for music. No physical changes to the room.
Object-Based Mixing
Fulcrum Acoustic’s Object-Based Mixing goes beyond stereo or surround by letting you place audio in 2D or 3D space for precise localization and a natural sense of depth. Powered by the Venueflex processor and Fulcrum One software, OBM delivers clarity across the listening area with fewer loudspeakers than standard immersive systems.
Active Bass Control
Reduce power alleys and coverage nulls. Our processors continually sample the subwoofer drive signals from an installed audio system, and produces complementary and adaptive signals to drive numerous low-frequency control loudspeakers distributed around the room. This creates tighter, more controlled sub-bass response for an improved audio experience.
TQ Processing
TQ processing implements the proprietary technologies developed by Fulcrum Acoustic founder, David Gunness. TQ (temporal equalization) processing is a highly precise application of DSP, exploiting optimized Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters to fine-tune loudspeaker performance. TQ processing results in natural-sounding spectral balance; a pleasing aesthetic balance between highly transient sources (such as percussion instruments) and less transient sources (such as human voice); uncolored vocals and excellent intelligibility.


Fulcrum One Software
The Venueflex Processor runs exclusively on Fulcrum One Software. Fulcrum One is a complete software environment for designing, simulating, and controlling Fulcrum Acoustic systems. Its user-friendly interface connects loudspeaker and immersive system design, room acoustic modeling, amplifier configuration, and performance evaluation with advanced mapping modes and auralization tools in one unified workflow.
Model
Use a visual model or enter room data to define the conditions that shape system performance, including room volume, materials, reverberation time, and background noise (some features available in Beta only).
Design
Place Fulcrum Acoustic loudspeakers and arrays, add Driveflex amplifiers, and Venueflex processors, and configure the system in one project. For immersive systems, set up Active Acoustics spaces, Object-Based Mixing sources, and automations.
Evaluate
Use mapping modes and probes to review performance across the listening area, including coverage, speech intelligibility, SPL, and time alignment (some features available in Beta only).
Listen
Use binaural auralization to hear the design over headphones before deployment. Room Auralization Mode lets users hear the loudspeaker design from any probe location, while Mix Auralization Mode lets users preview an Object-Based Mix and Active Acoustics spaces. Available in Beta only.
Optimize
Refine timing, voicing, filters, gain, and array processing in loudspeaker system designs. For immersive systems, refine Active Acoustic spaces, Object-Based Mixing sources, and automations
Control and Monitor
Manage Object-Based Mixing and Active Acoustics levels, trigger automations, and monitor connected Driveflex amplifiers and Venueflex processors.

For our historical sanctuary, we wanted to find a way to modernize our sound system and acoustic design while maintaining the character that our congregation has loved for generations.
Venueflex Active Acoustics allows us to use a pipe organ in our traditional service and a rock band in our contemporary service, all while maintaining the sonic character unique to both worship styles.
