Unforgettable performances
start with inspired engineering.
At Fulcrum Acoustic, we create sound experiences that connect performers and audiences in powerful, emotional ways. We solve acoustic challenges others can't, transforming ordinary spaces into environments where every note resonates.
Through innovative engineering and genuine partnership, we deliver sound that’s both intimate and immersive. Whether it's a worship space needing clarity, a concert venue where music should be felt, or a stadium where energy must reach every seat, our solutions create moments that connect, surround and engage audiences.
Behind every one of our installations is a team of experts who really care. We bring proven expertise and a down-to-earth approach to every project and are focused on creating experiences that move audiences long after the sound fades.
When audio professionals choose Fulcrum Acoustic, they’re getting more than just a product. They get a committed partner dedicated to achieving the perfect sound.

Our Mission
Fulcrum solves complex sound challenges, unifying compact hardware, innovative technology, and intuitive software. We build cohesive systems to deliver exceptional experiences, blending engineering with expert partnership.

Our History
Fulcrum Acoustic was founded in 2008 by Stephen Siegel, David Gunness, and Chris Alfiero, passionate audio professionals who believed there was a better way to solve the real-world challenges faced by system designers and engineers.
Stephen brought a blend of musicality and engineering, shaped by his work as a recording engineer, acoustical consultant, and his leadership roles in loudspeaker engineering at several major manufacturers. David had already made a name for himself in loudspeaker design, holding multiple patents and developing technologies still used across the industry. Together, they set out to rethink how loudspeakers are built and how they perform in the field.
In 2023, we expanded our capabilities by adding a dedicated acoustics, software, and immersive technology team, led by Dr. Paul Henderson. A longtime Fulcrum collaborator and expert in spatial acoustics, Paul helped launch Fulcrum One, a complete software solution for the design, simulation, and control of acoustics, loudspeaker systems, and immersive experiences.
From the beginning, Fulcrum took a different approach. We embraced coaxial loudspeakers for consistent off-axis response and made DSP a core part of our design process. Technologies invented by David at Fulcrum, including Temporal Equalization (TQTM), Passive Cardioid TechnologyTM, and the Oculus Phase PlugTM, helped us build systems that deliver clarity and control in even the most challenging environments.
Today, Fulcrum Acoustic systems are used in theme parks, stadiums, worship spaces, and performance venues around the world. Our headquarters and manufacturing remain in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, where we continue to design and build every product with care.
What hasn’t changed? Our commitment to creating systems that install cleanly, perform predictably, and deliver exceptional sound for every seat.
