Fulcrum Acoustic Expands Fulcrum One with New Acoustic Simulation and Auralization Tools
Whitinsville, MA [June 15, 2026] — Fulcrum Acoustic will introduce new Fulcrum One software features at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas. Attendees can visit Fulcrum Acoustic at audio demo room N113 and booth N6427 to experience the company's latest software, loudspeaker, amplifier, and immersive audio technologies.
The new Fulcrum One release expands the software's acoustic simulation and performance evaluation tools, jhelping users assess designs before deployment. New and improved capabilities include expanded acoustic mapping and analysis capabilities, plus binaural auralization tools that allow users to preview loudspeaker system design and immersive audio mixes over headphones.
Room Auralization mode lets users listen to a loudspeaker design from any location in their virtual model. The software draws user-provided environment data to simulate the loudspeaker design within the modeled acoustic environment. Mix Auralization mode lets users preview an object-based mixing project along with Fulcrum's active acoustics technology over headphones before the mix is heard in a live performance venue; Auralization takes place locally on the user's computer, so no special hardware is required. Immersion and realism can be further enhanced if the user employs headphones with head tracking capability.
The release builds on Fulcrum One's role as a connected workflow for Fulcrum Acoustic projects. User can model the environment, design a system, evaluate performance, optimize the design, and manage supported hardware from the single software platform. The update gives integrators, system designers, and consultants a clearer way to review coverage, speech intelligbility, time alignment, and listening experience before installation.
"With these new Fulcrum One features, we are giving users more ways to evaluate a design before it is deployed. Our new simulation and auralization tools help turn acoustic data into information people can see, hear, and use to improve their designs,: says Dr. Paul Henderson, Vice President of Sofrware and Immersive at Fulcrum Acoustic.
The new Fulcrum One features will be available as a free download beginning June 16 at www.fulcrum-one.com. Attendees at InfoComm are invited to visit booth N6427 for interactive demonstration of the new design tools and auralization capabilities of Fulcrum One.
