Customer feedback: Intermedia Systems Group
Fulcrum recently got the chance to work with Intermedia Systems Group, a systems integrator in Burnsville, Minn. Here’s what Josh Jagdfeld, their vice president, had to say about us:
“It’s not very common to find an easy and exceptional way out when stuck between a rock and a hard place.
That’s exactly the situation we recently found ourselves in on a tight-timeline house of worship project. Our job needed to be completed by the middle of May, but our quote on timeline for the subwoofers we were seeking was “maybe June.” In this situation, that was not an acceptable solution.

Cue Stephen Siegel from Fulcrum Acoustic. Our conversation went something like this:
Me: “Stephen, I’m unable to receive timely shipment of the subwoofer I would typically use in the project, and it won’t be available until maybe June. Your Sub 215 cabinets fit the bill and match the specifications we’re looking for – how can we make this work?”
Stephen: “No problem. I understand the tight timeline, so the subs are on the way and they should be there in about four to five business days. We’ll invoice you once you’ve received the shipment. In the meantime, I’m going to send out our local rep to demo the CX and DX series cabinets for you so that you have an opportunity to hear some of our other products yet this week.”
I was literally stunned at how helpful Stephen was, and how willing he was to work with us on such short notice to make the project deadline happen successfully. Not only was Stephen’s ability to avoid red tape very refreshing, but his initiative to get the local rep. in contact with us to demo other Fulcrum products was particularly enticing. The CX and DX series cabinets that we heard and got to play with for a few days in differing environments were simply astounding. Fulcrum has quite clearly taken the technical prowess of Dave Gunness and turned it into exceptionally smooth and accurate full-range two-way and three-way loudspeakers. In an industry where everyone under the sun is making speaker cabinets, it’s refreshing to hear something as stunning as the Fulcrum cabinets.
In every way, our first weeks of working with Fulcrum Acoustic have been overwhelmingly positive. As a company, we’re looking forward to working with them many times again in the future.”
