In the shadow of Fenway Park’s “Green Monster,” in Boston, the Lansdowne Pub provides a combination of classic old-world charm and state-of-the art audio featuring loudspeaker systems from Fulcrum Acoustic.
John Lyons Systems selected TQ Install and Prophile series products to serve the multiple needs of this newly-built Irish pub. Seventeen CX series coaxial systems provide uniform, high-fidelity coverage for background and foreground music. Two Prophile M’s serve the main stage for live music. The distributed CX series loudspeakers supplement the M’s to provide superb audio quality and coverage throughout the venue. Seven Sub215 subwoofers are placed at key locations for smooth, even bass coverage.

“For this project we required a compact, low profile speaker that was able to provide high SPL’s with extremely high fidelity at both low and high levels of operation. Fulcrum CX products were perfect for the job. The CX series was also very versatile when it came to installation. The ceiling in the Lansdowne Pub was very crowded with lots of piping and ductwork; the multiple hang points and light weight made the installation a breeze.”
Fulcrum’s proprietary TQ processing is implemented in Soundweb London signal processors. Crown power amplifiers are used throughout the project.
